Staff at Caffe Del Nino are celebrating after receiving recognition as an outstanding independent café in Cannock.
The café, based at High Green Court, was awarded the title of best ‘Cannock Café and Restaurant 2016’ by Amanda Milling MP, as part of the Best Retailers of Cannock Chase competition.

In its third year, the Best Retailers of Cannock Chase scheme asked people to vote for their favourite independent retailers in Cannock, Rugeley and Hednesford.

The awards support local independent shops, cafes/restaurants and market stalls as part of Small Business Saturday, a not-for-profit campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages the UK to support small businesses.

Kerst Ward, managing director at Caffe Del Nino, said: “This award recognises independent businesses here in Cannock, and the importance of supporting local shops and market traders, so naturally we are delighted to be named as the best Cannock Café and Restaurant for 2016.

“Receiving this award makes me very proud of the team, it’s recognition of the hard work put in by both staff and the stakeholders.

“There’s a real sense of community spirit at the café, and we take pride in delivering consistently good service.”
Caffe Del Nino is a family-run coffee lounge and deli bar offering a range of nibbles, drinks and Italian and English-inspired meals. With comfy sofas and vibrant art on the walls, the lounge strives to create a space for artistic locals to meet.

Neil Edginton of High Green Court, said: “We’re thrilled to congratulate Caffe Del Nino on receiving the best ‘Cannock Café and Restaurant’ award. Here at High Green Court we are keen to support unique and independent retailers, who are a vital part of the local community.”
