A popular shopping destination in Cannock has secured an exclusive new tenant.

High Green Court welcomes the Cannock Angling Centre, the first of its kind in the history of the town to set up in the centre.

The shop, which specialises in fishing tackle equipment, has built a successful business over the last five years but was unable to continue trading at their old premises on Chaseside Drive.

The business was looking to close, when they found the perfect unit available at High Green Court in the busy town centre.

Carl Burgess, owner of the Cannock Angling Centre, said: “The news that we could carry on and move into a location with such high footfall was extremely positive for us and our loyal customers.

“We opened just a few weeks ago and it’s been great to see new and existing customers coming to visit.

“I started the business with just £30 back in 2013, and now I aspire to be the biggest independent in the country”

Chris Salmon, Asset Manager for High Green Court, said: “We’re so pleased to welcome an established business to High Green Court and I’d urge anyone who wants to start their own business to enquire about letting a unit here.

“Cannock has recently been experiencing a wealth of new investment with new businesses opening throughout the town centre.”

The Cannock Angling Centre is now open and can be found at Unit 7 High Green.
