This midlands-based alternative rock band as formed in 2015 and since then band members Damon Springthorpe (guitarist/singer/writer), Lee Davis (bassist), Daniel Springthorpe (guitar) and Daniel Brittain (drums) have worked tirelessly to hone the sound of the band to achieve their signature BLG sound that ranges from “fast and heavy to slow and ambient.” The band described themselves as having “Sweeping melodic guitars over mixtures of drums, smatterings of keyboard and bass.”

Check out their soundcloud for a teaser of their newest EP to truly appreciate what sets Broken Looking Glass apart! Shards OF Sea has an awesome crunchy rocky feel with punchy drums driving the rhythm, combined with tracks that have a more melodic and gentle tone.

They are hot on the brum circuit making waves amongst popular music venues having recently supported Second Cities at the o2 Academy, and will also be headlining the Actress & Bishop on 21st April!

Guitarist, song-writer, singer and designer Damon Springthorpe says the band aim to produce new material, video or music recording every week, showing their commitment to the music community. The band also put alot of effort into making creative animations and filming videos to accompany their music, check out their youtube page here!
